Can you believe it is the end not only of a year but also of a decade?
So many changes have happened in my life, as I am sure in yours too. Some changes were welcomed while others not so much. Some brought smiles, others brought tears. With each happening I changed as you probably did.
Don’t get me wrong sometimes I fought the change. Other times I jumped straight in, occasionally I jumped too quickly causing me to reevaluate and change to a slower approach.
Life is not all sparkles and sunshine. We live in a fallen world and that in itself brings its own mess. A mess that is hard to walk through especially if we try to walk it alone.
Here’s the thing; as redeemed daughter’s of the Most High we don’t have to walk through the messiness of life on our own. Neither do we have to celebrate the joys of life alone. Jesus promises to walk each step with us.
Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed-be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I WILL NEVER [ under any circumstances] DESERT YOU [ nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], NOR WILL I FORSAKE or LET YOU DOWN or RELAX MY HOLD ON YOU [ assuredly not]!” Hebrews 13: 5 Amp.
How awesome to know no matter our circumstances Jesus will never leave us. He doesn’t desert us, we are firmly in His grip.
He’s got you girl!
As we enter 2020 let’s lift our eyes to Jesus and walk boldly into the new decade having confidence in the revelation that He has us no matter what comes our way.
Let’s lay the year, the decade, firmly in His lap, placing our dreams and aspirations. Our hopes, our concerns and our fears in His care because God delights in every detail of our lives.
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23

Like you, I’ve encountered exciting things and also painful times in the 2000-teens. I’m so grateful for the Lord’s presence, patience, and provision when I was at my worst and his abundant blessings. He is always faithful!
May He bless you and your family abundantly in 2020!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
