I have heard it said that many bloggers give up in the first three months and the majority do not reach their first anniversary. Guess what?
It’s my One Year BLOGIVERSARY!! Yea! Excuse me while I dance around my living room!
I have also heard on Jeff Goins webinar that if no one is reading your blog post you don’t have a platform, all you have is an empty stage. Thank you to all who read my blog posts, it would be so lonely without you.
In celebration of my one year blogiversary I’m doing a giveaway but more on that later.
It took me eighteen months from thinking about doing a blog to actually starting a blog. To any would-be-bloggers out there let it be known it does not take eighteen months to set up a blog. It just took me that long to pluck up the courage and go for it.
I blog for two reasons.
Reason number one: To brag on Jesus. Who He is and what He has done is so worth bragging about. He loves us more than we can comprehend. He forgives and washes away our sin, He restores us to himself. He covers us in His grace, righteousness and peace. Each day as we walk with Him we discover He is more beautiful, more loving, more gracious, more powerful than we realized the day before. He is definitely above and beyond anything we could ask or imagine.
Reason two: Is you my friend! My hearts desire is to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Life is hard and it can drain us of our energy, our get up and go for the things of God gets pushed to the bottom of the pile without us even realizing it. Before my fingers hit the keyboard I pray for words that will inspire a desire in you to know Him more intimately.
Thank you for faithfully reading, commenting, liking, and sharing. Without your interaction I would be just talking on that empty stage. I ask that you continue even more so this year to hit the like and share buttons so more women can be encouraged in the Lord. I love it when you leave a comment. It lets me know I have connected with a real person and I’m not talking into cyberspace. I love reading how the Lord is moving in your life, yes I read and respond to every comment because you are important to me. You are not a number on a stats sheet, you are my sister-in-the-Lord and I want to set you up to win just as others set me up to win.
